Conveyor Belts

Polyurethane(PU) conveyor belts

Polyurethene belts are primarily used where cleanliness is paramount, such as food preperation, scientific "clean rooms", and other such applications.
Their close-pore surface resists adhesion, making it very easy to clean, and hard for bacteria to penetrate. The belt can also be made with an anti-bacterial agent as part of the upper surface to enhance the belts existing properties.
The belt is very thin for its strength, allowing its use on tight-diameter rollers. This can make it the belt of choice over PVC if space is very tight.

Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC) conveyor belts

PVC is one of the workhorses of conveyor belts, suitable for a wide range of materials handling applications. It is an economical solution for general purpose, popular in warehouses and factories, and any application where strict heigene (e.g. food handling) is not required.
Twin-ply PVC is suitable for non-sharp loads of up to 10kg/m at normal temperatures, with 3-ply able to take higher loads.
It comes in a range of configurations, either glued/welded into an endless belt, or looped using metal fasteners, and can include flights, side-walls, tracking guides, and low-friction backings.

Oil resistant PVC

Grease, mineral oils and solvents can damage the regular conveyor belts with inserts of ordinary textiles. A swelling of the rubber cover may be the result even after a brief exposure to oil. Oils and greases usually have a very damaging effect on rubber, but products containing petroleum or oils are transported daily.
For this type of conditions we are offering oil-resistant rubber conveyor belts. Only types of rubber which are resistant to oil and greases should be used in order to safeguard rubber parts on conveyor belts against swelling. As not all kinds of oil and grease are similarly aggressive, various kinds of conveyor belts fulfill all the specific requirements of the customer.
Oil resistant rubber conveyor belts are the solution for the above conditions and we are offering them. The material's unique rubber compound decreases wear and enhances manufacturing effectiveness.

Stainless steel/Metal conveyor belt

Steel belts are usually reserved for the most demanding of applications. Typical examples might include scrap metal reclaiming or recycling plants, or any application involving very high temperatures (250 degrees and above).
Metal belts come in a variety of forms, from the ultra-heavy 'platelink' variety (they look like tank tracks), to the lighter steel mesh (chainmail) and ladder belts. The latter tend to be used more in the catering industry, where their open mesh/links allow air to circulate around the carried product. (often to allow them to cool down after leaving an oven.)
These are usually found in the food industry(i.e the chips manufacturing, chocolate manufacturing and so on.

Rubber belts

Reinforced rubber belts are THE traditional hard-wearing conveyor belt. Geared towards heavier duty applications than its PVC or PU brethren, these belts are available in a range of strengths and thicknesses.
They excel in outdoor use, or in situations where the load is heavy or slightly sharp/abrasive. Rubber belts can also feature high-grip top surfaces, flights (cleats), sidewalls, and chevrons, making them highly flexible.
Thicknesses range from 5mm to 20mm, and the belt can be either vulcanised into an endless loop, or looped with steel fasteners.

The advantages of it is resistant to many chemicals, greases and oils, exceptional anti-adhesive effect. Specifically designed for high-temperature food applications, this product has many other uses where temperature, cleanability, abrasion resistance, and excellent release and chemical resistance characteristics are required. They also offer good release properties and outstanding adhesion.
